Important Dates for CA Foundation May 2019 Registration

For students planning to appear for the May session of the CA Foundation in 2019, it is crucial to register on or before the last date, which is December 31, 2018. This registration period ensures that you have sufficient time to study before the actual exam date, at least four months after the registration.

Alternatively, if you prefer to take the November session of the same year, you are required to register before June 30, 2019. This provides a similar preparation timeline, ensuring that students have enough time to study effectively before the exam.

Documents Required for CA Foundation Registration

To register for the CA Foundation, the following documents are mandatory:

Attested copy of the Admit Card/Mark sheet: This must be issued by the respective board for class 12th examination. CLatch photograph: A colored photograph should be affixed on the hard copy of the registration form, preferably the most recent one. Proof of Nationality: If the student is a foreigner, an attested copy of the proof of nationality is required. Proof of Special Category Certificate: This includes ST/SC/OBC or differently abled category, with an attested copy of the certificate. 10th Mark-sheet/Admit Card: An attested copy of the 10th class mark-sheet or admit card, indicating the student's name and date of birth.

Once the registration process is completed, students will receive study material through the Centralised Dispatch System (CDS) to their registered address. A registration fee of Rs. 9200 (including Rs. 200 for the prospectus, which is optional) must be paid to the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI).

A registration letter and registration number will be issued by ICAI. It typically takes around one month for the registration letter to reach your address. Alternatively, you can download the registration letter online from the ICAI's portal.
