Christianity’s Answer to the Doctrine of Ascended Masters

Christianity’s Answer to the Doctrine of Ascended Masters

As I attended a small church for a while, I observed the mindset of the congregation. Their minds were closed to anything outside the established beliefs, which were already firmly entrenched in their mental framework. This church, merely leasing a building, had an unfinished plywood wall behind the pulpit, upon which an impression of Jesus emerged from the grain, standing at six feet tall. Perhaps, unintendedly, the pastor couldn't see it.

The Quest for the True Jesus

During my search, I encountered the true reflection of Jesus Christ, the one who held my belief and likeness. This was not merely an image of Jesus on the cross or in heaven; rather, it was a manifestation of the living, breathing teachings that resonate with his essence. Ascended masters, as described by some, have been an intriguing topic. However, I sought to explore the proximity of their teachings to the authentic path of Jesus Christ.

The Unique Position of Jesus Christ

Jesus Christ holds an unparalleled position among spiritual entities. He said, "No one comes to the Father except through me." This declaration underscores his unique role in facilitating a direct path to God. Let's delve into why no other so-called 'ascended master' can match Jesus Christ in terms of miracles, impact, and divine endorsement.

No other so-called 'ascended master' has performed miracles on the scale or frequency of Jesus Christ. No other master was hated by the world as fiercely as Jesus was. No other master suffered as profoundly. No other master received extensive written mention or prophecy in scriptural texts, unlike Jesus. No other master claimed the same level of public ascension or resurrection, followed by signs and wonders that continue to manifest today. No other interpreted and fulfilled prophesies as accurately as Jesus, even those from figures like Nostradamus or the Inca civilization, who themselves were referenced by Jesus.

The pivotal prophecy of Jesus on the day of his crucifixion, confirming 33 prophesies in a single day, further cements his unmatched position. In light of these attributes, it is reasonable to conclude that all other supposed 'ascended masters' are, at best, loyal servants, reflecting partial truth or alignment with Jesus Christ.

The Servant and the Master

The parable of the servant and the master in John the Baptist's statement - "Not even good enough to carry His sandals" - illustrates the subordinate position of any loyal follower compared to the master. In essence, a true ascended master must align with and carry forward the teachings of Jesus Christ. This underscores the importance of staying true to the authentic path and avoiding the departure from faith as prophesied.

Stand Firm in Faith

As we navigate through these teachings, it is imperative to remain steadfast in our faith. The Bible advises us to 'put on the full armor of God' and to 'stand firm.' The presence and assurance of Jesus Christ's final return are confirmed by his signs and wonders, serving as a beacon of hope and truth. As we stand firm, let us also recall the words of Jesus: 'I AM with you even unto the very end.'

By understanding and adhering to the unique position of Jesus Christ, we can discern true spiritual guidance from misguided teachings. The quest for truth is ongoing, and the authentic teachings of Jesus Christ continue to resonate with those seeking genuine spiritual fulfillment.
